CTB is The newest Leyland bus at LKR 3,708 million

Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) has 272 buses and 50 luxury buses with 33 seats and 53 luxury buses for the better transport of passengers to Sri Lanka Transport Board for a cost of 3,264 million and 444 million rupees. The contract to be awarded by the Standing Cabinet Appointed Procurement Committee (SCFC) in five years LKR 3,264 million and 444 million rupees for lease basis

The proposal made by Hon. Arjuna Ranatunga, Minister of Transport and Civil Aviation, to hand over the offer to Lanka Ashok Leyland General Company, was approved by the Cabinet.
